Charles Harper

Charles Harper is the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of World Won Development and a Board Member of World Won for Christ Family Life Ministries, Partner in the 36th Street North Event Center, Board Member for Oklahoma Community Support Coalition, as well as a member of the Historic Greenwood District Main Street. As CEO, he is responsible for the financial stability and infrastructure of all World Won community development projects. Those projects are EduRec Youth & Family Fun Center, 36th Street North Event Center, Fitting Back In Prison Reintegration Program and World Won Development Enterprises. Although not a native of Tulsa, Mr. Harper has grown to love the City and is committed to changing the socio-economic position of its underserved residents since moving to Tulsa in 2000.

Embracing the core values of integrity, servant leadership, commitment, and intuition, Charles leads by example. His contagious enthusiasm instills his team members with extraordinary energy and dedication. He is a proud member of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc. and has received honorary citations from Senator Kevin Matthews, State Representative Regina Goodwin, and District 1 City Councilor, Vanessa Hall-Harper. He is also a 2020 Martin Luther King, Jr. Trailblazer Award recipient from the Terence Crutcher Foundation and a 2021 Lacy Park “Unsung Hero.” In 2020 he added Radio Personality to his resume, Mr. Harper and his business partner have a weekly radio show on KBOB 89.9 FM, and www.nycu.fm, called World Won Development’s “News You Can Use.” Mr. Harper was featured in the LeBron James documentary, “Dreamland: The Burning of Black Wall Street,” which earned an Emmy in 2022.

 

Damali Wilson

Damali Wilson, CLA, is an entrepreneur and started her own consulting business in 2014. She is the Chief Operating Officer for World Won Development and oversees the day-to-day operations of its community development projects. Those projects include EduRec Youth & Family Fun Center (a 53,000 square foot facility on 15-acres of land), 36th Street North Event Center (a 25,000 square foot facility on 5-acres of land), and the Fitting Back In Prison Reintegration Program, which has and continues to change thousands of lives.

Ms. Wilson has been a paralegal since 2001 and has worked in various areas of law. She earned her associate degree in Applied Science, Legal Assistant in 2002, and an associate degree in Liberal Arts in 2003, both from Tulsa Community College. Ms. Wilson earned the designation of Certified Legal Assistant (CLA) from the National Association of Legal Assistants in 2004. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice from Northeastern State University in 2006. She was named the Eastern Oklahoma Rookie Paralegal of the Year in 2003 by the Tulsa Association of Legal Assistants and served on the Tulsa Association of Legal Assistant’s Board of Directors in 2003 and 2004, directing the Certified Legal Assistant Study Group. She also received the 2020 Martin Luther King, Jr. Trailblazer Award from the Terence Crutcher Foundation and the 2021 Lacy Park “Unsung SHero” award. She is also the recipient of the 2022 Impact Woman of the Year award from the Women of Color Expo. Ms. Wilson is currently an independent business consultant for community development projects in the City of Tulsa and serves as a Board Member on the World Won for Christ, 36th Street North Event Center Boards and World Won Development boards. Adding Radio Personality to her resume in 2020, Ms. Wilson and her business partner have a weekly radio show on KBOB 89.9 FM, and www.nycu.fm, called World Won Development’s “News You Can Use,” and has hosted several events around the City. She is a native of Tulsa, Oklahoma, and graduated from Booker T. Washington High School in 1986. Lastly, she now has an International partnership with organizations in London, England and Kamuli, Uganda.
