Uniting Tulsa and Atlanta for Economic Prosperity and Community Growth
In this first episode of our NYCU.FM Recap from Atlanta, Charles Harper and Damali Wilson bring you a front-row seat to the Black Excellence Exchange. This impactful trip, led by Kuma Roberts, President & CEO of the Black Wall Street Chamber, is all about fostering collaboration between Tulsa’s historic Black Wall Street and Atlanta’s thriving Black business community.
The delegation of 28 leaders is here to discuss critical issues and exchange ideas on economic recovery, social justice, community growth, and to also learn from Atlanta’s successes and bring those insights back to Tulsa to empower local communities.
This trip also serves as a tribute to Sherry Gamble Smith, one of the founding members of the Black Wall Street Chamber. Her legacy continues to inspire this mission of economic empowerment and community development.
Follow along as we explore how these two cities can work together to create lasting change.
